Biography

Kaynan Duarte is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and one of the most dominant heavyweight competitors of the modern era. Known for his combination of explosive athleticism, precise technique, and strategic intelligence, Duarte has earned major titles in both gi and no-gi grappling, establishing himself as one of the defining forces of his generation. His balanced game—featuring strong wrestling, powerful passing, and dangerous submission setups—has made him a consistent threat across the highest levels of the sport.

Duarte rose to prominence through standout performances in IBJJF competition before transitioning to ADCC, where he cemented his status as a world-class no-gi grappler.
