Biography

Tommy Langaker is a Norwegian Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt known for his high-paced, dynamic guard game and creative attacking style. Considered one of Europe’s most accomplished grapplers, Langaker built his reputation through technical precision, relentless movement, and a competitive mindset that makes him extremely difficult to submit—particularly famous for his toughness against leglocks. His combination of pressure, creativity, and composure has made him one of the most respected athletes competing out of Europe.

Langaker earned his black belt under coach Jose Carlos at Wulfing Academy and quickly rose to international prominence with major results on the IBJJF circuit, including European Championship titles and multiple podium finishes at elite events. He later transitioned heavily into professional no-gi competition and has been a frequent standout on Polaris, WNO, and other major international platforms, delivering consistently exciting and technically rich performances.

Over the years, Langaker has evolved into a well-rounded competitor capable of threatening from both top and bottom positions. His mix of creativity, durability, and elite technical skill has solidified his place as one of the most capable grapplers of his era.
