Biography

Taylor Pearman is a British Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Alain Pozo of ZR Team and one of the United Kingdom’s leading submission hunters. Known for his crafty no-gi guard and leglocks, Pearman competes primarily in the under 88 kg division.

He gained international recognition in 2024 after a flawless performance at the European ADCC Trials, where he submitted all six opponents to secure qualification for the ADCC World Championships.

Pearman has built his competitive identity around a relentless and highly technical leglock system, with the outside heel hook as his signature submission.

While officially representing ZR Team, he conducts a significant portion of his high-level no-gi training with the Los Bandidos team in London, where he refines his approach to entering and finishing from positions such as the False Reap.

Beyond his breakout no-gi success, which includes winning the IBJJF No-Gi Worlds at the purple belt level, Pearman is the founder of Enso Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Colchester, England. He is also an active coach, sharing his accelerated approach to jiu-jitsu development.
