Biography
Sarah Galvao is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and one of the most promising rising stars in modern womens no-gi grappling. The daughter of legendary world champion Andre Galvao, she grew up immersed in high-level jiu-jitsu and represents Atos, carrying forward the competitive intensity and technical excellence associated with the team.
Galvao gained widespread attention for her breakthrough performance at CJI 2, where she advanced all the way to the finals of the womens division. Despite being one of the youngest competitors in the bracket, she displayed mature tactics, explosive guard work, and fearless exchanges against far more experienced opponents. Her exciting final against Helena Crevar (deemed one of the best matches of the event) solidified her reputation as a future superstar.
