Eddie Cummings is an American Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and one of the most influential leglock specialists in modern no-gi history. A key early member of the Danaher Death Squad, Cummings helped shape the technical blueprint of the team’s notorious lower-body submission system.
Known for his analytical, methodical style, Cummings brought a scientific mindset to jiu-jitsu, supported by his academic background in physics. His ability to systematically dismantle opponents through inside position, ashi garami transitions, and relentless submission pressure made him a central figure in the rise of modern leglock systems.
