Biography

Aurelie Le Vern is a French Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and elite professional submission grappler, representing French Guiana on the international stage. She is recognized as one of the fastest-rising talents in women’s grappling, known for her composed, technical, and submission-oriented style.

Aurelie Le Vern has demonstrated world-class ability in both gi and no-gi competition. Her achievements include winning the 2024 IBJJF European Championship and earning multiple medals at the IBJJF World and Pan American Championships during her colored belt career. She is known for her strong guard play, sharp transitions, and dangerous leg-entanglement setups, refined through training with high-level teams around the world.

Her most significant accomplishment came on December 11, 2025, at UFC BJJ 4, where she competed for the inaugural UFC BJJ Women’s Featherweight Championship. In the main attraction of the event, Aurelie Le Vern defeated multi-time IBJJF No-Gi World Champion Raquel Canuto via kimura at 3:38 of the first round. The victory crowned her the first UFC BJJ Women’s Featherweight Champion and solidified her status as one of the top athletes in modern submission grappling.
