Pedigo Submission Fighting is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu team based in Mount Vernon, Illinois, and is widely recognized as the modern continuation of the original Daisy Fresh Jiu-Jitsu program. Led by head coach Heath Pedigo, the team became famous for producing high-level competitors out of a small, no-frills gym—earning a global fanbase through its gritty, hard-working culture and success on the national and international competition scene.
After the Daisy Fresh era, Pedigo rebranded the team as Pedigo Submission Fighting, expanding its system, coaching structure, and competitive vision while maintaining the same blue-collar ethos that defined its rise. Pedigo's athletes have excelled at major events such as IBJJF No-Gi Worlds, ADCC Trials, and WNO, solidifying the team as one of the most respected programs in modern jiu-jitsu. Despite its humble origins, Pedigo Submission Fighting continues to be known for producing disciplined, technical, and mentally tough competitors who embody the spirit of the original Daisy Fresh movement.
