Overview

CFFC BJJ is the professional submission grappling division of Cage Fury Fighting Championship, one of the premier developmental organizations in combat sports. Built as a high-level showcase for elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners and crossover MMA talent, CFFC BJJ operates as a polished, professional platform with consistent exposure through UFC Fight Pass.

The promotion originally launched in July 2021 under the name FURY Professional Grappling, created by the same leadership behind CFFC MMA. Its initial mission was to provide submission grapplers—including UFC veterans and full-time BJJ specialists—a production-quality stage comparable to professional MMA events. In mid-2025, the series was officially rebranded to CFFC BJJ beginning with CFFC BJJ 14, aligning the grappling brand more closely with its parent organization.

Over time, CFFC BJJ evolved from its submission-only roots to incorporate a more structured, UFC-style ruleset for select bouts. Main card matches began using a three-round, judged scoring format similar to the UFC Fight Pass Invitational, blending submission urgency with positional and tactical evaluation. The promotion has featured high-profile competitors such as Gillian Robertson, Danielle Kelly, Oliver Taza, and UFC athletes including Sean Brady, Chris Weidman, and Aljamain Sterling—reinforcing its role as a bridge between elite grappling and professional MMA.
